What’s the catch?
There isn’t one. The free Community plan is genuinely free forever — no credit card, no trial. We take a 2.5% platform fee on each sale to keep the lights on. If you ever want bigger-store features — lower fees, your own domain, abandoned-cart recovery, staff accounts — there are optional paid plans from £15/month. Most stores never need them, and yours works fine without.

How can it really be free forever?
We’ve operated this way since 2007 — a profitable, independent company. The free Community plan is funded by a small commission on each sale (2.5%) and by optional paid plans for stores that want lower fees and bigger-store features. Free isn’t a promotional offer that ends, and there’s no tier that suddenly costs money once you cross a sales threshold. The free plan in 2007 is the same free plan today.
